Keystone Programs

LOCUS

With LOCUS, clinicians and managers of healthcare resources have an instrument that is simple, easy to understand and use, but is also meaningful and sufficiently sensitive to distinguish appropriate needs and services.

SMART tool

The Self-Assessment for Modification of Anti-Racism Tool (SMART) was created in the aftermath of the high - profile deaths of several Black individuals at the hands of law enforcement in 2020. It is intended for use by organizations interested in self-directed, sustained anti-racism work.

AACP Board Certification

The AACP Board Certification in Community and Public Psychiatry  is awarded to individuals who meet the educational, experiential and exam requirements to be certified in community and public psychiatry.

Model Curriculum

An outline of resources contained in the curriculum, along with links to access presentations, facilitator handouts and participant handouts follows.

Featured Resource

A new report from the Medical Director Institute (MDI) at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing highlights the need to move the behavioral health field toward greater standardization in determinations of service intensity or levels of care, both for acute crises like the patient above, as well as for ongoing service needs.

To accomplish the goal of having a “national standard” for service intensity assessment for individuals and families seeking MH care, the MDI Report recommends the LOCUS Family of Tools (LOCUS FT), developed by AACP and AACAP.
